SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR – Paid Internship
We are seeking a creative and fun-spirited person to help grow the Ballad Pictures brand through social media. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in a range of digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in content curation, social media planning, and digital asset management, with a keen eye for identifying and amplifying authentic content that aligns with our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create social media posts for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Track engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Create a content calendar to maintain consistent activity across channels
- Write captions for social media posts, finding the optimal hashtags for reach.
- Engage with online communities
- Review past and current creative projects to identify content for social media posts
- Monitor content performance and contribute ideas to improve reach and engagement
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone across channels
Bonus Skills:
- Video editing capabilities and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Google Adwords and Google Analytics best practices
You will work closely with the Creative Director to identify areas to broaden company reach and boost activity. You will gain valuable insight into the operations of a marketing and creative business. Opportunities for additional editing and support on commercial productions.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Starting pay is $18/hr for 8-10 hours/week. Plenty of room for growth and to increase hours.
